Flu Alert- Do Not Send Students to School if they present the following;
1. Generalized flu symptoms, low-grade fever, achiness, chills and headache. If your child presents
a fever in the morning, please do not give them Tylenol and send them to school. By noon their fever is back and they
have infected the class. They should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.
2. Diarrhea and or Vomiting. If your child has these symptoms in the morning or everning, it is wise to give them
the next day to completely recover.
3. Respiratory symptoms, frequent deep cough( disruptive to the class), green nasal drainage or chest discomfort.
4. Rashes/ Skin lesions; any lesion that is warm, streaking or has drainage that cannot be contained. ( Chicken Pox,
Impetigo, Scabies)
5. Fever of 100 or more, abdominal discomfort, swollen lymph nodes.
Have your child get a flu vaccination this year. Keep that
nasty bug away!
LICE ARE SMART
They can ADD eggs to your head
They can SUBTRACT blood from your scalp
They can MULTIPLY quickly
They can DIVIDE you from your friends
BE SMARTER THAN THEM
Don't share hats, combs, ribbons, etc...
Report to the School Nurse when you get lice to prevent spreading.

HANDWASHING
Germs can be easily spread from one person to another.
Handwashing is one of the best ways to stop the spread of GERMS.

Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.
